The collision involved a car and a lorry.

The passenger of the motor, a 56-year-old woman, was taken to Aberdeen[1] Royal Infirmary where she remains in a critical condition.

The driver, a 22-year-old man, was also taken to Aberdeen Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.

The driver of the lorry was not injured.

Policing[2] Sergeant Calum MacAulay said: “Enquiries into exactly what happened are ongoing and I’d urge anyone who saw the crash, and hasn’t already spoken to police, to get in touch.

“Motorists with dashcam footage of the area at the time, please review this. I’m particularly keen to trace any footage of the black BMW 318 or the silver MAN HGV before the crash. If you’ve captured this, please bring it to our attention.”
