Liverpool port operators cancel further strike action after 9% pay rise
Strike action at the port of Liverpool has ended after a pay deal of 9% was struck with the Unite union.
The port said an agreement had also been reached to implement a new pay structure for port operators and this, along with an increase to the night shift allowance, enhanced the deal by an additional 0.2 – 4.5%.
